The storyisbased on factsand takes place inthelateseventiesandeightiesin Prague.The main character of the book is a man named Michal. He is starting to take drugs when he is seventeen years -. He wants to have a good time and do what is forbidden.Hetriesthe drugout of curiosityandtofitintothe group of his friends, but he creates a drug addiction. His parents don’t know that he uses drugs. Theyfind it outwhen hehasa lotof unexcused absencesatschoolandbad grades. The parents are shocked. He has to promise that he stops taking drugs and (finds) a job. He works - few days but he finds it boring. He leaves home and starts living with his girlfriend Eva in her flat. She takes drugs too. Drug craving is strong and they decide to rob a drugstore. They have lots of drugs and feel good again. After- they go to a house party but it’s - bad idea. The police break- into the flat and Michael is accused of stealing.He gets to correctional center. After his release from the center he meets his friend. The friend tells him that his girlfriendEva is dead. She commits suideside but he doesn’t believe it. He thinks that some of his friend do it. He wants to revenge but it backfired on him. He suffersbrain damage and become- dependent on - help from other people.

Kde máte škrtnuto, tam je buď špatný čas nebo formulace, kde jsou - , tam něco chybí. Zkuste si to opravit a vložit to sem znovu. Jinak docela pěkné shrnutí, ještě doporučuji jednu věc - namísto "he" čas od času zopakujte jméno, angličtina to unese (lépe než čeština) a text bude přehlednější, lépe se bude orientovat v postavách (he = the friend? Michal?).
